Well, the answer comes in the form of Pinstripe + Leopard (P + L), an independent collective of employer brand and employee communications specialists of which I am a founding member - along with Heather DeLand and Jan Lewis. We've all worked together in agency land where we created employer brands from research and insight through to brand articulation (creative copy and design) for regional, national, international and global clients across the public and private sectors, including household names.
We formed the collective because we recognised that many large organisations were building the capability and self-sufficiency of their in-house teams, so no longer needed (or wanted) to buy in everything traditional agencies sold.
We also created P + L because we wanted to offer an agency-quality experience to those smaller organisations who need to manage their employer brands, but might not have full in-house teams or the budgets commanded by traditional agencies. Because we are freelancers who come together to form project teams, we don't have the overheads of traditional agencies, hence we can offer clients more for their money.
Myself, Heather and Jan are the core of the collective. However, we have an extended network that includes web designers and developers, SEO specialists, media planners, content managers, social media experts and data analysts. That means we can provide clients who want it, with an end-to-end service.
